Bring your school together with a silent disco that’s easy for staff and PTA volunteers to organise. Ideal for end-of-term celebrations, fundraising discos and school parties, our three-channel LED headphones let children choose their music and adjust their own volume.
Hire packages start from £72, including VAT, UK delivery and collection. Your equipment is normally delivered three working days before your event, giving you time to check everything and practise the setup.
A refundable £60 security deposit is payable separately.
Every standard silent disco hire includes:
Three-channel LED headphones, plus two spares
Three transmitters for your music channels, plus one spare

To play different music on all three channels at once, each channel needs its own music source. We include one MP3 player, so you’ll need two additional sources, such as phones, tablets or laptops.
Run Separate Discos for Different Year Groups
Planning separate sessions for younger and older pupils? You can reuse the same headphones between sessions, so choose your hire quantity around the largest group listening at any one time—not the total number attending throughout the day.
For example, two sessions of 100 pupils would need 100 headphones if the sessions don’t overlap and everyone taking part needs a pair. Allow time between sessions to collect, count and clean the headphones before handing them out again.
You can change the music between sessions to suit each age group. Staff and PTA volunteers remain in charge of supervision and choosing suitable playlists.

A Fun Way to Raise Funds for Your School
Ticket sales can help your PTA cover the hire cost and raise money for school projects. Running separate sessions lets you reuse the equipment while welcoming more pupils.
For example, hiring 100 headphones costs £197, including VAT, delivery and collection. If you run two non-overlapping sessions with 100 paying pupils in each, charging £5 per ticket would bring in £1,000.
That leaves £803 after the equipment hire cost, before other expenses such as refreshments, venue costs or payment fees. This is an illustration, rather than a guaranteed fundraising result.

School Silent Disco FAQs
How many headphones should we hire?
Choose enough headphones for everyone listening at the same time. If you’re running separate sessions, you can reuse the equipment between groups. We include two spare headphones with your hire.
Do we need a DJ?
No. Staff or PTA volunteers can run the disco using the included MP3 player or their own compatible music devices. Each channel needs a separate music source to play different music. We include one MP3 player; you’ll need two additional sources to play three different playlists at once.
Can we choose our own music?
Yes. Connect your own compatible phones, tablets, laptops or DJ equipment using the supplied accessories. This lets you choose playlists for different age groups. Please check tracks for suitable lyrics before the event.
When will the equipment arrive?
We normally arrange delivery three working days before your event and collection on the next working day afterwards. This gives you time to check the equipment and practise setting it up. Tell us when booking if you need it earlier or for a longer period.
Do the children need phones or Wi-Fi?
Children don’t need phones—the headphones receive music directly from our transmitters. The silent disco equipment doesn’t need Wi-Fi, although your music device may need internet access if you’re streaming rather than playing downloaded music.
Can we get help with setup?
Yes. We include step-by-step instructions and provide 24-hour technical support. Test the equipment before your event so there’s time to resolve any questions.
